Carrot salad with white radish

Before I start to write the recipe, I want to apologize that I haven't wrote anything for a ages... Things have been a bit messy right now and I just haven't had time to translate anything to English.. I am very sorry. I keep on posting new recipes as soon as I have time. I hope you, dear readers, won't stop reading this. :)


200g ..... White radish
3 ..... Middle sized carrot
A bit sugar
Juice of grapefruit

* Wash radishes and carrots
* Peel them and grate them
* Add sugar and juice on grapefruit
* Mix well and keep the salad in fridge before you serve it

Blueberry-cloudberry smoothie


8 cup ..... Natural yoghurt
Blueberries
Cloudberries
Vanilla sugar

* Mix all ingredients together with hand blender and serve

The Queen berry pie


Dough doesn't include eggs. This is the doubled amount of ingredients

Dough:
1 l ..... Buttermilk
4 cup ..... Sugar
14 cup ..... Flour
250g ..... Butter
1,5 tsp ..... Soda
3 tsp ..... Vanilla sugar
On top:
2 l ..... Berries
6 tbsp ..... Sugar
4 tbsp ..... Starch

* Mix together buttermilk, sugar, vanilla sugar, melted butter, flours and soda
* Pour the dough into baking tray which is covered with greaseproof paper
* Mix the berries with sugar and starch and add them on the dough
* Bake in oven about half an hour in 200 degree

Our Granny's pancakes


200g..... Flour
½ l ..... Milk
2 ..... Egg
30g ..... Butter
2 tablespoon ..... Sugar
A bit of salt

* Mix eggs and milk in a bowl
* Add other ingredients and melted butter
* Put the dough into fridge for ~20 minutes. If the dough seems to be too thick, add 1 cup of milk
* Take out a pan and add a bit of oil. Then lift one bigger scoopful of dough onto pan and fry the cake from the both sides to golden brown
* Serve with jam, ice cream, whipped cream, etc..

Pancakes in oven


8 cup ..... Milk
2..... Egg
4 cup ..... Flour
½ cup ..... Sugar
½ cup ..... Oil
1 tsp ..... Salt
1 tsp ..... Vanilla sugar
1 tsp ..... Baking powder

* Beat eggs with milk
* Add other ingredients
* Pour the dough into cookie sheet
* Bake in 200 degrees about 30-45 minutes

Mango - Orange pie



Dough:

170g..... Butter
1½ cup..... Sugar
1 teaspoon..... Vanilla sugar
4..... Eggs
2 teaspoon..... Baking powder
6-7 cups..... Corn flour
5 cup..... Mashed mango
1..... Big orange

* Whip butter (room temperature) with sugars
* Grate the peel of orange and press out its juice. When the mixture is foamy add the egg yolks one by one (put the egg whites to the other bowl, you need them later) and add the grated orange peel
* Whip until the egg yolks are foamy
* Add the mashed mango and orange juice while mixing slowly
* Mix together flour, baking powder and egg whites
* Beat the egg whites and add the mixture to the dough gently mixing
* Pour the dough into pie tin and bake in the oven for a 45 minutes in 180 degrees
